Driving On Sand

Sand makes for a unique driving surface. If you drive too fast, you may lose traction and risk burying your vehicle to its frame. If you drive too slow, you may lose momentum and still risk losing traction. Overheating your vehicle's transmission may also be an imminent threat. Carefully manipulating your vehicle's throttle, selecting the right gear, choosing the appropriate tire pressure, and using traction aids are just some of the key elements in conquering the beach or sandy environment in your vehicle.
